Winter Adventure

   Day 1

   Arrival & Welcome to the Mountains

   Upon arrival, we will be greeted by our guide and transferred to the charming mountain city of Brașov. The journey offers a first glimpse of Romania's winter landscapes. After check-in, we will enjoy a relaxed walk through the medieval Old Town and a welcome dinner, setting the tone for the week ahead.

   Day 2

   Ski Experience for All Levels

   All meals included

   Today is dedicated to skiing in Poiana Brașov, Romania's most popular winter resort. Whether we are complete beginners or experienced skiers, the day is tailored to our level, with instructors available for those learning and plenty of slopes for more advanced participants. In the afternoon, those who still have energy can enjoy sledging or simply relax with a warm drink while taking in the alpine atmosphere.

   Day 3

   Bears, Legends & Into the Wild

   All meals included

   The day begins with a visit to the Libearty Bear Sanctuary near Zărnești, where rescued brown bears live in a protected natural environment. We then continue to Bran Castle, famous for its connection to the Dracula legend and its dramatic hilltop setting. In the afternoon, the programme shifts towards a more adventurous tone as we head towards the Făgăraș Mountains and hike up to a mountain cabana. The ascent through snowy forests leads to a cosy and remote overnight stay.

   Day 4

   More Skiing & Ice Skating

   All meals included

   A second day on the slopes allows us to build confidence and fully enjoy the skiing experience. Beginners often see great progress, while stronger skiers can explore more of the mountain. In the late afternoon, we return to Brașov for a fun and social ice-skating session, followed by a relaxed evening in town, with opportunities to discover local cuisine and cozy cafés.

   Day 5

   Winter Hiking & Mountain Skills

   All meals included

   Today is dedicated to exploring the high mountain environment. Depending on weather and snow conditions, we hike towards the ridge, enjoying spectacular winter scenery and a true sense of wilderness. Along the way, our guide may introduce basic winter survival techniques, from understanding mountain conditions to simple emergency skills. The hike returns to the same cabana, where a warm meal and a relaxed evening await.

6. 6

   Day 6

   Descent & Wildlife Tracking

   All meals included

   After breakfast, we descend from the mountains, experiencing a different perspective of the landscape. Along the way, there is a chance to observe and learn about animal tracks in the snow, offering insight into the hidden wildlife of the Carpathians. Once back at lower altitude, a transfer will take us back to Brașov. The evening is free to relax or explore.

7. 7

   Day 7

   Leisure & Departure

   Meal included: breakfast

   Our final morning is kept flexible, allowing time for a short city walk, souvenir shopping, or simply enjoying a coffee in a historic square in beautiful Braşov. Depending on our departure plans, we will be transferred to the airport for our journey home, concluding a week filled with winter activities, culture, and mountain experiences.
