STC Expeditions is committed to supporting organisations that are having a positive impact on communities and nature in the locations where we work all over the world, including the UK.
In practice, this looks like:
- supporting local communities on our trips by volunteering to help improve infrastructure
- giving our time to charities local to our HQ in Exeter to support them with training or skill sharing
- raising awareness of climate change by running workshops for schools in the UK
- donating to rewilding projects and the restoration/protection of carbon sinks all over the world
- offering discounted trips to students from low socio-economic backgrounds
