Incredible adventure and †culture
When we first heard of the Sitlakhet trekking camp in the foothills of the Indian Himalaya and the Shivpuri rafting camp on the banks of the Ganges, we knew instantly that it would be a hit with schools. The combination of adventure, discovery, religion, culture and geography has, as we suspected, created great interest, with a number of schools heading to experience these wonderful value trips.
The trips are a relatively new offering from one of the UK's leading school adventure tour operators. They have been thoroughly researched, come with an impressive safety management system and are delivered complete with UK leaders and an experienced and dedicated team of professionals in India. The programme at each camp and during the time in Delhi can be tailored to individual requirements and the two camps can be joined together into a 2-week programme.
Also on offer are 9 day tours of the classic Golden Triangle of Delhi, Jaipur and Agra, visiting timeless sites such as Delhi's Red Fort, the Amber Palace, † the fortified ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri and the stunning Taj Mahal. † If you would like more details, a brochure or to discuss the possible options in more detail, then contact us and we'll help you organise a wonderful trip.
