STC Expeditions becomes first Childsafe Certified tour operator in the UK
ChildSafe, a global movement protecting children from all forms of abuse, congratulates STC Expeditions for its achievement in being the first tour operator in the UK to be awarded Childsafe Certification.
The organisation’s flagship Certification is awarded to companies who meet stringent policy procedures regarding the welfare and treatment of children across the world.
Emmanuelle Werner from ChildSafe says: “The tourism industry plays a key role in protecting children globally. By becoming Childsafe certified STC Expeditions is at the forefront of the growing international recognition of the importance of implementing child protection within the tourism industry.
