Sri Lanka is emerging from its troubled past to yet again reveal its wonderfully diverse array of offerings.

There can be few small islands in the world that boast such an impressive list of stunning travel icons and highlights, and with a good infrastructure you can see the best of this island in the space of two weeks.

Sri Lanka offers a rich history, stunning scenery (mountain ranges, tea plantations and lush tropical forest) and a very welcoming population. Buddhist culture permeates the island and there are many opportunities to visit some extraordinary temples and shrines. There is also superb wildlife watching with safari oportunities in many of the National Parks.

For schools, Sri Lanka offers an astonishing variety of flora, fauna and educational conservation opportunities that are ideal for a Biology or Ecology based study trip.
