Local Knowledge

There are many things that go to make up effective risk management, but the importance of local knowledge cannot be underestimated, both in the planning stages and "in the field". The tour operators we use work with local companies in all corners of the world to put together your travel plans. Relationships with these companies have been built up over many years and our tour operators have utmost faith in the services these companies provide. After all, their own reputation and future depend on them.

The use of "in country" agents has many benefits: they speak the language, have local knowledge and links with the local community, they can offer insights into the history and culture of a region, and are passionate about their homeland. More importantly, in the unlikely event of an incident occurring, the pupils and leaders will have the support and resources of an expert, professional and experienced team on hand to react quickly to any given situation.
