Orley Farm School
Destination Inspiration....
A 10 - 12 day adventurous expedition for 12 year old boys to involve a challenging trek followed by a few days R&R. Nepal, Namibia, Vietnam and East Africa were considered. The teacher in charge of the trip was an experienced Mountain Leader with previous school expedition experience, nevertheless, with such young children, the itinerary, acclimatisation, preparation and safety management had to be first class.

Testimonial | The Expedition has been amazing and better than I could possibly have imagined. Undoubtedly a few of the boys have been pushed out of their comfort zone, which of course is partly the aim but then others have adapted to it like a duck to water! The chief guides we had were excellent and clearly specifically chosen for the age of the children. Between the 2 of them they had climbed mount Kenya and Kili over 700 times....enough said! We have seen so many amazing sights, amazing sounds and been up and down a beautiful but challenging mountain! As one boy said to me today 'being on holiday with my Mum and Dad will never be the same again!' |
