About the Sinai Desert:

The Sinai Desert, often voted as the most beautiful in the world, is the perfect location for a short school expedition. Stunning scenery, great trekking, biblical history, Bedouin cultures and some of the best sunsets to be found anywhere on earth, make the Sinai a firm favourite with our school clients.

This expedition is just great for schools and a true desert adventure in every sense of the word, so you should be prepared for some basic conditions whilst camping. The experience of sleeping out under the stars in spectacular locations, and the ambience of camp life will more than compensate for the simple, limited facilities.

The feedback from previous schools we've had travel to this region has been nothing short of fantastic, and with flight-inclusive expedition prices starting at around £950 for a group of 16 students and 2 free teachers, it's great value too.

The trip is offered in conjunction with our friends at the adventure tour operator EXPLORE!

  • I would recommend either the Negev/Sinai Desert or the Atacama Desert in Chile for the trip.

Book Reviews: tandem journeys and ultra-runners

Two books that combine travel and adventure from an active perspective – running or cycling – and on an ultra-big scale. How big? Well, we’re talking cycling from Alaska to the southern tip of Argentina, and running 100 miles for fun, through mountains and deserts, non-stop, with just a pair of sandals strapped to your feet.
