Rwanda

Rwanda, The Land of a Thousand Hills, is a small country that has made an enormous recovery from the horrors of the 1994 genocide. The stunning scenery of dense jungle, majestic mountains and volcanoes holds a wildlife experience of a lifetime: a chance to track the last remaining Mountain Gorillas in the mist covered hillsides of dormant volcanoes.

Rwanda is more than gorilla tracking, it is a wonderful destination. There are protected forests (rain, cloud and bamboo) with, amongst other primates, colonies of Colobus Monkeys, and the endangered Golden Monkey; the busy cities of Kigali and Butare with information and memorials to the recent history; Akagera National Park with its amazing birds, lions, hippos and giraffes and Lake Kivu with its beautiful inland beaches for relaxation.

We can offer a range of possibilities in Rwanda both in educational tours (including extensions to link school visits) and holidays for individuals, either tailor-made or in a small group. As an independent niche travel agency, we work with many of the best operators in the UK and so are well placed to help you put together travel arrangements that are tailored to your requirements. We are experienced in arranging a variety of trips throughout Rwanda including:

  • School tours and expeditions
  • Small group escorted adventure tours
  • Tailor-made journeys
  • Gorilla tracking

To discuss your requirements in more detail, speak to an expert on 0845 838 7667 or drop us an email along with a rough outline of your plans.
