Lebanon

Lebanon, the biblical 'land of milk and honey', is small but bursting with Middle Eastern history, culture, archaeology and stunning scenery. A land of contrasts from the bustling, vibrant city of Beirut to the rugged Mt Lebanon Range, hidden fertile valleys, olive groves, vineyards, nature reserves, ancient Phoenician ports and plantations of fragrant Cedars of Lebanon, there is variety and interest in abundance.

Visit an Ottoman Palace, Crusader Castles, Roman and Egyptian temples. Wander the ancient ruins of Byblos, the oldest continuously inhabited town where the Bible was first scribed. Walk in the footsteps of the Romans at the ruins of Baalbek and explore the temples to Venus, Bacchus and Jupiter. Shop in medieval markets and trek in remote valleys finishing each day feasting on delicious food.

Lebanon's size and proximity to Syria, Jordan and Egypt mean that we are able to put together trips that involve anything from a grand tour of the Middle East, to carefully crafted tailor-made specialist tours.
